	Hi, my name is "Sasha", I am a six year old terrier cross. I am being re-homed as my owner's daughter and small baby have moved in and I am now longer wanted. I am o.k. with adults and children over 13 years of age, most dogs if they do not pester me, but I do not like cats (like most terriers!). My condition is good and I am fine in a car. I can be left for several hours and am not destructive. I am desperately looking for a new home with a single person or a family with children over 13 so please consider adopting me. 	Hi,my name is "Alfie" I am a 9 month old Jack Russell cross Colllie. I absolutely love people and being around other dogs. I am housetrained, well behaved, but do at times get a little bit overexcited. I pull a bit on a lead so some training would help me a lot. I could fit into most situations but would probably best suit an active family home or with an active couple, I really am Mr. Happy and can't wait to have a new home where I can get settled and get on with life. 	Hi, my name is "Poppy" and I'm a 20 month old Lab cross, I have recently been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. I am very good with other dogs, older children and I have lived with cats, although at times I do like to try and play with them. I have to find a new home as my previous owner felt that she couldn't give me everything that I need. I would love to go to training classes just to help me brush up on my manners and reinforce basic commands. My previous owner had to have me rehomed as she was going to live abroad and couldn't take me with her. Iam good with other dogs, children and have lived with cats in the past. I would really like to live in a home where there are one or two adults that like to go for walks and to be around for most of the day. I am a very friendly and energetic boy and would love an active home maybe with another dog, as I love them. I would benefit from going to training classes and if possible to learn to do agility, I do need plenty of stimulation. I have lived with children, dogs and cats. I can't be left for long periods of time as I get bored and then I have to chew something, so I need someone to be around for most of the time until I grow up a bit and learn to be left for short amounts of time. It takes me a bit longer to get use to people as I am a little nervous because I lack confidence, but when I get the right home with time and patience and confidence building Iam told that I will improve. Once I get to know you I am fine and would make a good little companion for preferably an all adult house. 	Hi, my name is "Monty" and I am a 5 year old Border Collie. I have had to come into rescue for rehoming because my owner is terminally ill and can no longer look after me properly. I am a very well behaved boy, very sociable with other dogs and with children, but I do not get on very well with cats! I love my walks and like to go out in the car. If I meet horses or any livestock when out I just ignore them. I am a bit overweight at the moment because my owner was not able to take me out for walks, but with the right diet and exercise I will soon get trim again. 	CHARITY WALK in aid of SUSSEX PET RESCUE and CAT WELFARE SUSSEX, from Hove Lagoon to Brighton Pier and back (approx 5 miles).Sunday 5th September, walkers are asked to raise sponsorship or donate on the day.
